Aspen Tearing up his Toy from Daniel Zhu on Vimeo.
I was trying to figure out different ways to manual focus with my little hand held, and I immediately thought, "I'll go film my dog Aspen!" I'm still a n00b at manual focusing, so the stuff I tried sorta and sorta not worked, haha. Eh, I'll get better with practice.
So I was at dance practice last night, and I sorta got a better idea on how to develop my own dance style. Dyzee told me once to have an overall concept, a theme, and develop it into your own dance. That way you look more artistic, and not like a clone of other dancers. I knew his meaning for the past year, but never really had a concrete idea to how to make my own dance. All it took was 15 minutes of daydreaming yesterday during break time. I space out a lot.
Eric edited up our interview with the Japanese b-girls from Body Carnival crew. It was amazing meeting Ayumi, Narumi, and Mi-chan. We'll be seeing at least Narumi and possibly Shie-Chan a few months during Breakin' The Law event at our former university, UW-Madison.
